I’m Emma Kosh and I have a passion for interiors that truly reflect individuality.
At OWNIT we create bright and beautiful artwork unlike anything you have seen before then roll this out onto homewares. Working with a hand-picked team of illustrators you can choose from our existing collections or create something exclusive to you in our bespoke boutique.
The idea for OWNIT came in a moment of inspiration after reading the book ‘The colour of Bee Larkham’s murder’ in which the protagonist- a boy called Jasper has an obsession with parakeets. It got me thinking about how he would love a bedroom adorned with those colourful birds, who could make that happen for him? Then I thought about all the people not represented in mass produced homewares – what if they can’t identify with the faces they see? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see themselves represented in an illustration surrounded by things they love? How much confidence and empowerment would they take from that?
As an interior designer I’d never heard of such a personalised service and so the idea for OWNIT was formed. A team on a mission to empower with interiors that reflect exactly who you are.

Emma Kosh
Emma’s career in design started at the BBC with CBeebies and CBBC as a prop maker and set designer. The BBC furnished Emma with a wealth of skills which she carried through to her future in Interior Design.
Alongside being a mum of three girls Emma retrained at KLC design school and launched her own Interior Design business in 2014. Emma quickly gained a reputation locally for her unique approach to interiors and her business continues to thrive without the use of paid advertising- word of mouth recommendations from clients is what fuels her success.
In 2017 Emma landed a dream job as the new on-screen designer for CBBC ‘s ‘The Dengineers’ where her experience in TV and design talent combine. With two series and five dens under her belt she continues to enjoy making this inspirational series and help children to create their dream dens. A den designer with a unique sense of style that has proved a massive hit with fans of the show.
OWNIT home is the next chapter in Emma’s adventure with design – where her passion for creating truly unique interiors becomes a reality for her and for you.
Emma’s personal mission is to empower people to be themselves without apology. OWNIT home is an extension of this, bringing this unapologetic self into home decor. Emma wants you find power in uniqueness and have this reflected in the home.
Emma lives in St Albans UK with her wonderful husband, three fierce daughters and one Cocker spaniel.
